OurWay helps families do connections, not just talk about them.

A practical framework, a family board, and an AI planner that turn shared goals into shared moments.

What Families Need

Not more advice. But actions.

Family bonds often fuel our deepest happiness.

Yet everyday friction gets in the way - homework battles, overwhelming gatherings, conversations that end in a shrug.

Good intentions get buried in busy weeks.

Led by the same person, every time.

“I love spending time with my family. I just hate everything that happens before it.”

Jen, mother of two

Families rarely fall apart from one dramatic event.

It’s the slow, quiet drift. It’s not uncommon to experience estrangement from parents after children grow up.

What OurWay Does

Less to manage. More to share.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

Visible progress means everyone moves together.

Less screen time. This isn’t another app.

A physical board to gather around, not stare into.

It adapts to your family, not the other way around.

OurWay AI learns how your family actually works, so it becomes truly yours.

A staycation, mostly run by the kids.

This Easter, the Cadbury family handed the holiday over to the kids. Using OurWay’s board, they planned it, ran it, and made it their own.

01 Table planning

It started around the table.

Every family member suggested an idea, and OurWay’s AI assistant turned them into a plan the whole family could see, shape, and own together.

02 Kids building the board

The kids drove the agenda.

Instead of waiting for instructions, they turned their own goals into visible steps on the board.

03 Bake sale payoff

The staycation, together.

The bake sale paid for cinema tickets, but the real win was everything that followed: Go Ape, the coral reef waterpark, and a staycation the whole family organised and spent together.

“Actually Daddy, can I pay for that? Because we’ve made money.”

Sienna, age 11

“It's amazing when you empower the kids to be a part of the decision-making process. For the first time, I feel I can catch my breath.”

A note from the founder

Growing up, my family lived across different countries. When I was 12, my mum moved overseas to pursue her MBA, while I stayed with my dad. A few years later, our lives took us in different directions again. Through all those changes, staying close did not always come easily.

Therapy has helped me enormously, including in how I understand and relate to my parents. But it is not always accessible or sustainable for every family, and it cannot be there for every everyday decision, misunderstanding or missed opportunity to connect. I learned that insight matters — and so do simple ways of putting it into practice.

Last year, almost by accident, I began applying simple, structured ways of working together to our relationship. It made a real difference. We are closer now than we have ever been.

As I read more and spoke with behavioural scientists and psychologists, I realised this was not simply a lucky accident. Small shared rituals, clearer expectations and practical ways of working together are grounded in well-established research. Yet these ideas rarely reach families in a form that fits real, everyday life.

Research gives us the evidence. But it is products that help turn it into everyday practice. That is why I left my job to build OurWay.
